Why work one to one?

Working in this way can be extremely beneficial to those who suffer with long term medical, mental or physical conditions. It allows you to access the deep healing nature that yoga can bring. We work therapeutically using techniques based on the teachings of B.K.S Iyengar to support the systems of the body safely.  Alice is also trained in Well Woman Yoga Therapy and uses meditation, restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra to re-balance and replenish.

Shine Yoga offers one to one and small group classes to her students these are perfect for people who:

♦ Suffer from physical or mental conditions that need specific attention; such as back pain, shoulder pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic fatigue, fertility issues, disability and digestive problems.

♦ Who are pregnant or have young children at home

♦ With a busy life schedule and struggle to get to regular classes

♦ Who want to work more intensely on their personal practise with concise areas of teaching, working in confidence with their body

♦  Who are self conscious about practising with other people or find it hard to be in large groups of people.
